The 8th Annual San Diego International Children's Film Festival (SDICFF) happens July 24 - August 7 at Comic-Con International, the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park, the San Marcos Civic Center Plaza, the Carlsbad City Library on Dove Lane and AMN Healthcare Theater. This year, SDICFF has screened more than 200 films from around the world - animation, live action and documentary. The 10 exquisite Chinese films were screening on August 6th and 7th at the AMN Healthcare Theater, and the panel of "Film Creativities in East & West" was hosted by Dream Works Animation at its Glendale campus.
After the screenings of all the films, the filmmakers themselves as well as the stars carried out an on site Q&A session with the audience at the theater and there were local children film critiques speaking out their views on each of the films. The attendee rate is over 100 audiences per screen, it is a big rise for the Chinese films. For those who missed the festival, you can go on Amazon.com to obtain those films.
